We have been in business for over twenty years specializing in the I. M. BarteltÒ type of horizontal form, fill and seal machine.  We started out making parts for packaging machines, and then moved into rebuilding.  We discovered that we could produce a higher quality machine if we started from scratch.  We endeavored to build a high quality machine at a very competitive price.  We retained the basic mechanical design that has proved its reliability over the years combined with the very latest electronic controls.   This combination has rendered a very effective machine.    We utilize proven Allen BradleyÒ electronics that are available worldwide. We support and implement high technology, but only when the technology is integral to a well-designed machine.  For instance, we developed a Servo filling head because it is unquestionably far superior to the old electro-magnetic brake and clutch with regard to accuracy and durability.  The result is a well functioning servo filler head that is the least expensive on the market.

BarteltÒ is a registered trademark of Klockner Bartelt. Blair-Fuehrer, INC has been a competitor of Klockner Bartelt for over 20 years. Blair-Fuehrer, INC disavows any  business connection  with Klockner Bartelt.

We use a touch screen because it has many useful functions. It provides the best means to change limits and fine tune even while the packager is operating.   The touch screen is a compact operator interface linked to the local machine as well as an entire factory network.  The operator can monitor the machine status and product data, then pass that data to the central network

We use drive inverters because of the slow start capabilities and the ability to easily change the speed of the packager while online with a touch of a button on the touch screen.  An automatic unwind and edge alignment are included in our optional selections.  Stand up and reclosable pouches are also included as options.

We provide thorough documentation with our packagers including full CAD paper and digitized electrical schematics, operational manuals and a spare parts list.

Our purpose is to develop a packager that will accomplish the task by means of the best technology available while keeping cost and design improvement foremost.

We have produced packaging machines for many well known companies in the packaging industry.  We just completed a full line for Associated Milk Producers and delivered the twelfth machine for Omni Pak Industries in California.  We have worked toward a reputation of fair dealing and quality work.  Our past customers speak well of us.
